About Dale

Dale Glading, 50, is the Founder and Executive Director of The Saints Prison Ministry. Headquartered in Moorestown, New Jersey, "The Saints" is the largest athletic prison ministry in the country with branch offices in Charlotte, NC, and Colorado Springs, CO.

By working to restore inmates to God and their families, The Saints save New Jersey residents hundreds of thousands of dollars every year by transforming prisoners from tax burdens to tax payers. The Saints aftercare affiliate, Lives in Transition, maintains a 5% recidivism rate compared to the national average of 75%

A lifetime resident of South Jersey, Dale earned a Bachelor of Science degree with summa cum laude honors in Community Recreation from Temple University in 1981. He served as Recreation Director at the Wiley Christian Retirement Community for 10 years before entering full-time ministry with The Saints in 1994. During his years at Wiley, Dale developed a deep empathy for seniors and an understanding of the issues that concern them most.

Dale and his wife Deanna have been married for 24 years and have three children: Bethany (22), Matthew (20) and Christopher (19). A licensed minister, Dale is also a published author, a popular editorial writer and a sought-after public speaker.
